Craft Beer Breweries Making a Mark-Reno to Sacramento

Revision Brewing, Sparks, NV

Revision Brewing has great roots and a deep understanding of Craft Beer, Craft Beer Consumers and Community. Awards do make for great craft beer; they have awards!

Rooted in the Reno area, Revision Brewing Co. touts a hefty lineup of world-awarded ultra-premium beers distributed throughout 15 states in the U.S. and 8 countries. The brewery specializes in IPAs, New England-Style IPAs, Reds, Lagers, Porters, Stouts, Pastry Stouts, Barrel-Aged Beers and most recently, hard seltzers. Revision Brewing Company beers have won awards in the US, Japan, Australia, Germany, and Belgium. Interestingly, the founder was formerly a founder of Knee Deep Brewing in Auburn, CA.

Revision Brewing Company stemmed from Brewmaster Jeremy Warren’s desire to start a brewery that embraced creative freedom. For Revision, that transcends from beer to label. The art of brewing is united with art itself with Revision labels featuring over twenty artists on ever-rotating IPA releases, keeping the labels as fresh and innovative as the beer itself.

Reno as F*%k Hazy IPA was awarded Gold at 2019 World Lupulin Challenge Juicy Double IPA Category and has such a draw that the brewery decided to launch Vegas as F*%k Hazy IPA to show their Nevada roots across the entire state.

They also appear to be involved in other breweries in ownership positions in Reno. Point being they are not shy about being all-in on Craft Beer. BTW, if I am reading information on their site correctly they produce about 80 different labels in a year, https://www.revisionbrewing.com

Revision Brewing Competition awards
Every Brewers Association Beer Fest Competition (which included entrants from more than 10 countries) Revision always comes home with several awards.

Food/Entertainment Options are Plentiful.

Old data on their site indicates that that they do not have food service. However, they seem to have food truck services and I am not sure on what schedule. Also, old information again however, seems to allow dog if they are on a leash. Here is the reply directly from Revision when we ask about their food policy: “We do allow outside food; no preferred vendors there. Occasionally we have food trucks but they are not so dependable/easy to schedule so we do not have set days for those.”

On Wednesday’s, it they do have DJ Trivia entertainment from 7 – 9 pm. That seems to be a very attractive source of entertainment with a lot of Tap Rooms.

Pricing on beers seem to be a standard $7.00. They do offer tasters at $3.25. They do not say what the serving size is for either pours.

THE SPACE

The staff are great. Facilities are comfortable and clean with ample room to move about.

They do offer events. Birthday parties, baby showers, office functions or other special events. They have an online form that is complete to get availability and pricing and let them know of anything special you need for the event.

The staff does know their beers. And they seem to be willing to go as far as you would want in understand their ingredients and processes.

Easy to find, close to I-80. Parking not an issue. Good People.

Why Revision Brewing Is a Must-Visit

Revision has not been around very long, but in its short life, it’s become a world-renowned brewery.

Its modern take on IPAs, double IPAs and triple IPAs are the brewery’s bread and butter, but its two-year-old, barrel-aging program is gaining worldwide attention.

The Tap Room is like a lot of Tap Rooms but similarities end there. It is a community gathering place that is welcoming.
